This is a touchy subject and really depends on the personality of the person. The biggest mistake i feel is acting too quickly give it time. Don’t make it obvious, treat them like a friend and see if you still have the same romantic feelings after a while. But don’t be afraid to move on if neccesary. It is very hard but that is because you don’t stop loving somebody, you just have to start loving someone else.

anyway…. just move on and start dating other women. all the while, just stay friends with the ex. As you go along in your life, you need to start bettering yourself in all categories.
Your ex will always be around, and eventually, if you DO ‘rebuild’ yourself… she will want you back. And by then, you will know for sure if you actually want her back too. Because other women will also see you as a good catch.

It is possible to get your ex back especially if you broke up with him recently. The most important part is to make it clear for yourself if you really want him back. You need to remember all the good as well as bad sides of you relationship. If you still decided for yourself that you want him back make sure not to beg him to take your back, because it will just make things worse.
