My boyfriend wipes his bottom from the back to the front (towards his scrotum). It seems wrong. Is it normal?
Do most men wipe this way? I know girls should wipe front to back. I don’t even know how i came to know this about him! I’m trying to convert him but at 38 years old, that may be impossible! What is the normal way for men?
I must admit that I never really thought about it, but that is how I do it too!

I’ve never told anyone this, but I actually wiped that way until I was about 18 and I saw the first Jackass movie and saw how one of those guys was wiping his "bottom", and then I changed. Since then i’ve become a paramedic and with tons of Biology, Health. Anatomy, Physiology and other education i’ve learned that it is unhealthy to wipe back to front for men as well … Not so much for the man because it’s only a tiny hole and it’s kinda far away from where you wipe, but during sexual activity the male can transfer some fecal bacteria to the vagina … which is bad news. It’s rare, but it’s definitely healthy to wipe front to back always.

It’s normal. Everyone starts out doing it that way. Females learn the other way so they don’t cause vaginal infection.

I really wasn’t sure so I just sat down on the toilet and I do wipe from back to front BUT also front to back.
