Will my boyfriend ever come back?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 2 years. We are deeply in love with each other and he admitted that he will always be there for me and always love me for the rest of my life. He always did things that made me smile and always there when I needed him. He said I was important to him and he needs me as much as he needs his family because I would never hurt him and was always there for him. Well we got into an argument and we both said some horrible words to each other however my words hurts more than his. Basically he lied about some things and I called him pathetic and that’s why bad things always happen to you because you deceive and lie to people. When I said those things he said that it’s time for us to break up. He says that he loves me but it’s time to move on. He claims he doesn’t want to be my friend anymore because that’s something that I should never say to a loved one. So I left him alone that day.Well I gave him a card and wrote a deep heartfelt letter explaining my actions. He talks to me when he sees me. We had a heartfelt talk again because I dislike the fact that he is mad at me and won’t recognize his faults. So he finally apologized to me but he says that he’s still hurt from my words. I asked him is it over between us and he says he’ll talk to me but it will take a while to completely forgive me. He told me to give him some time.
Just today I saw him. He said hi to me and I asked how he is doing. He says that he’s been stressed from work and nearly got in trouble because something happened at his job. He’s been really tired from working overtime this pass week. I was curious so I ask him again do he forgive me and is there ever a chance with us. He said please just give him time because he’s been really busy and stressed. Give it space and let us grow. So I just let me be from there on.
This is the second time within 2 years that we got into a heated argument where we broke up. But after 3 weeks we got back together because he missed me. So I want to know do you think it’s a chance he will come back this time or is he just trying to be nice and secretly telling me to move on? Is the space thing an excuse? I will give it to him as asked but if I have to move on with my life I will.
