I was with my ex for 6 months and for most of it it felt really really good, we had the occasional odd moment but we always got through it. Then very suddenly she said she was having second thoughts and in the space of about 2 weeks she said we should take a break (don’t know if she meant break or quit though but if it’s a clue she didn’t put her relationship as single on FB she just left it blank). I’ve accepted her descision (as there was nothing much I could do) but I really do miss her and want to try and get back together. The reasons she gave were that we weren’t talking like we used to and this made her unhappy with our relationship. We haven’t spoken since the break up and I don’t know how to start to patch things up. what can I do to get back with her. (btw if your going to say just move on or something the way I see it I’ve got nothing to lose in trying to get her back so if this is going to be the outcome I’ll do that once I’ve tried)

So it’s OK for her to date other people, but it’s not OK for you to be friends with or date people she does not like when the 2 of you are not in a relationship? She sounds like she has you wrapped around her little finger. She doesn’t want to be a nun, she’s just playing you.

You need to stop trying so hard to please her. If she can date other people, then so can you, so do it. Enjoy yourself. If she’s truly interested in you, she’ll come chasing after you before long. And if not, then just move on.
