I so much want to call my ex BF after I asked him 2 weeks ago not to call me again. I am so confused? We are on and off for 5 years. I want stabilization he his like 4o year old child. But every time I break up with him I miss his friendship so much that is unbearable.
You want smart advice? Don’t call. You aren’t together for a reason (I won’t pry,) and that should be enough for you to understand that it’s not something you should pursue.
Do things to take your mind off of him. Go out with other friends, go out on dates, go dancing at clubs, watch movies… Enjoy your life. Don’t allow one person’s presence or absence to control your life. There is simply too much out there in this world to experience.
If you haven’t seen it, take a look at the movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." I’m sure you’ll be able to appreciate it in this situation.
Just call him… you’ll both appreciate the booty call.
