Call of duty 4 PC: Skin Tutorial

****I DON’T OWN THE MUSIC IN THIS VIDEO****

First open your iw_04.iwd in winrar. to find iw_04.iwd go to C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\main

next go to images

then scroll down until you see weapons

find a weapon the has _col in it. ex (weapon_desert_eagle_gold_col.iwd)

then drag it to your desktop, then to the iwi2dds file (link for download at the bottom)

then when the file says ex. weapon_parbolic_knife_col.iwi_out.dds

delete the .iwi_out so it says ex. weapon_parbolic_knife_col.dds

then put it in photoshop, this does not work with photoshop cs4 64bit

now you can color it or do whatever

then save it, make sure as a dds

then drag the dds file to the dds2iwi-cod4 (link to download at the bottom.)

then go to C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\Mods\ModWarfare

put the weapon in images

then double click make mod

then u should get a Z_modwarfare.whatever

drag that into the mod you want

thats it

(when u use the dds2iwi it will turn the origianal iwi file into your custimized one.

    You need the converters and the DDS plugin when you convert the iwi to dds you need Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, or Paintshop pro, I have Paintshop pro.

    Anyone know where I could download that file? I ripped all the contents of the dvd, if I can find that one file I can put it in there and install from there…
